Nuclear war and climate change have been cited as the two existential threats facing humanity by the Doomsday Clock Bulletin of atomic scientists.
The two great nuclear powers are on a knife edge and there is undeniable evidence that climate change is underway even though the causes remain a hot political debate, with billions of dollars of investments, jobs and economies at stake.
There is a good reason why the Doomsday Clock has moved 90 seconds to midnight, the closest it has ever been to the apocalypse.

Climate change, hotter temperatures, more severe storms, and increased drought has been recorded around the globe
In Europe, the desertification of the southern part of the continent is underway. Drought-stricken Mediterranean countries are slowly seeing the retreat of green plant life as the lifeless Saraha desert expands northwards.
It is no longer academics or scientists worried about climate change. In the agricultural sector, those close to nature, the fruit farmers are worried that if the current drought in the southern part of the continent continues, they will have no more surplus fruit to sell.
Moving to Asia, the most populated continent, India has also recently experienced severe droughts.
On December 22, India placed a ban on rice and wheat exports citing food insecurity concerns in the wake of the drought and Ukrainian war.
But with the waning global economy and the need for exports, India recently lifted the ban and provided a temporary respite to spiralling grain prices.

Human activity is leading to hyperinflation in food, food insecurity and famine.
Whether you believe climate change, which could cause famine and political unrest, is driven by human activity is a moot point.
But the man-made war in Ukraine, Europe’s breadbasket, could be the Holodomor great famine of the 21st century.
Europe’s most fertile farmland is being poisoned with countless uranium-depleted shells, an armour-piercing devil’s weapon documented to cause cancer, damage human DNA, and disfigure the unborn. A humanitarian environmental crime is underway.
Where are the climate change activists and the United Nations delegates advocating humanitarianism?

Climate change and the war in Europe are contributing to record-high food global prices
There is already hyperinflation in food prices and monetary policy tightening will not solve the potential coming man-made great famine.
The core inflation figures literally hide the severity of spiralling food prices by simply excluding the cost of food in the data.
Climate change, the coming food insecurity; so where are the elites investing?
Smart money is not buying stocks in food retailers, as they experience profit margin suppression. Higher energy costs, wages, the rising cost of servicing debt and food retail theft at record highs could equal collapsing profits for food retailers.
In supermarkets across Europe, inflation is leading to a surge in food theft.
In the US, a Walmart store shows no food to be found on the shelves.
Even Amazon, the giant tech company with privileged access to finance has decided to close eight of its high-tech Amazon Go convenience stores. So Amazon has moved away from the low-profit margin high volume food retail business in the age of food hyperinflation.
So in the era of climate change, food insecurity and war, the elites are buying farmland. Billionaire investors are buying farmland. Warren Buffett and Michael Burry all invest in Farmland.
Moreover, Bill Gates somehow has a knack for making all the right moves at all the right time and recently became the largest private farm owner in the US.
Land appreciation has been strong over the past months and was even stronger in 2021. The Fed’s aggressive rate hikes of 2022 could slow the price rise of farmland but the trajectory could still be higher for fertile land with plentiful water.

Policy-driven macro trends driven by climate change
Mainstream promotes the view of scientists that climate change is due to man-made activities.
So the global government view backed by government-funded scientists cites burning fossil fuels, cutting down forests, and farming livestock are increasingly influencing the climate and the earth’s temperature.
Climate change policy will pick the future winners and losers of businesses which will shape the future economy.
Free market economics, price discovery, and democracy were replaced with a planned economic system directed by plutocrats, administered by technocrats and sold to the public by a media that advocates the narrative.
The media’s role is no longer about objective journalism, its role is not to inform but to manufacture consent.
So mainstream journalism, which doesn’t advocate the master’s ideology, will be silenced, hence Tucker Carlson’s departure.
Mind control, the shaping of critical mass thinking, will be directed by the oligarchs. For critical mass, thinking is a threat to the power structure. Dissenting views will be silenced. A French woman faces a fine of 12,000 euros for insulting Macron.
Climate Change and the Greening of the Economy
The mass electrification of transport will happen because it was decided.
Not only will the elites program the masses what to think, how to think, and how they should travel, they will even dictate what we eat.
If the rulers decided the public should eat cake and not meat, it will happen. War in Eastern Europe will escalate if the elites want it to, for there are no dissenting voices with a microphone.
So climate change will influence policy and capital flows in this planned plutocratic system where dissent is suppressed.
